Cappadocia to host the 2028 World Youth and Junior Championships
A decision taken at the International Table Tennis Federation’s meeting in London awarded the 2028 World Youth and Junior Table Tennis Championships to Cappadocia.
We are proud that the 2028 World Youth and Junior Table Tennis Championships have been awarded to Cappadocia. The decision, taken at the International Table Tennis Federation’s meeting in London, matters a great deal for our country and our region.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to bringing the event to Cappadocia, and above all to ITTF President Petra Sörling.
We are grateful to Prof. Dr. Veli Ozan Çakır — Director General of Sports Services, President of the Turkish National Olympic Committee and ITTF Vice-President — for his sustained effort throughout the process.
